Greenville Pain Center

Project Scope: Greenville ambulatory surgical center is a 16,000 medical facility we completed in 2024. It is a three part facility including a surgical center with two operating rooms and a post operation area, an imaging center with an MRI machine and x-ray machine, and a medical spa.

Mutual Credit Union

Project Scope: Mutual Credit Union is a well-established banking institution that was looking to

expand to the Columbus, MS area. To do this, we constructed a new modern building from the

ground up that features two ITMs under a covered drive through, a teller station with solid

surface countertops and glass dividers for walk-in customers, an entrance with 17ft tall storefront

glass, a clearstory with wrap around windows and a wood slat ceiling that continues down the

wall to a set of display cabinets, and several offices separated from the lobby by glass. The

exterior of the building consists of majority brick with a spine wall cladded with a composite

siding. All fascia, coping, and soffit are ACM panels and give the bank a clean, modern look. On

the inside you’ll see LVT floors a carpet inset that defines a seating area in the lobby. The walls

are painted in modern colors and a few are covered in wallpaper to give the bank a higher end

feel. This building covers 4900sqft including canopies and came in at $2.67M. It was completed

in 365 days with minimal deviations from the schedule.

Safety Information: Zero incidents or injuries occurred over the course of the project, thanks to

a safety plan strictly enforced by the on-site team.

Project Summary: This project was executed efficiently, with minimal deviations from the

original plan. The final result provided Mutual Credit Union with a high-quality facility that

supports its operations in a growing market, while also being profitable to the contractor. The

successful delivery of this project stands as a testament to effective planning, communication,

and execution.

Grenada Depot Restoration

The restoration project consists of approximately 8,627 sf of Existing Space. The project cost was $1,744,509.84. The project included restoration on the first floor of the freight storage areas, employee service facilities and the original ticketing offices. Restoration of the second floor included restoration of wood beaded board walls and ceilings, existing doors, windows and incorporation of new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. The fully restored exterior work included restoration of the brick laid paving, masonry repointing and reconstruction where severely deteriorated, restoration and/or replacement of windows and doors and installation of new wood loading dock, in keeping with original historic photographs.

From the selection process of the Contractor through the entire Design and Construction process, the contractor did an exceptional job. They were well organized, provided Team support on cost savings, on time scheduling, processed submittals and shop drawings in a timely fashion and provided detailed progress reports.

During the Construction Timeline, the project progressed well even through inclement weather. Subs were on site as scheduled each day throughout the months for their discipline and their attention to detail was incredible. All Construction Reviews were completed with minor or no revisions. All punch list items were completed within 7 days, and the keys were given to the Owner early.

Safety was a major concern on the project since the office and train engineer rooms remained fully operational throughout construction. The contractor always took Additional Safety Precautions to ensure the safety of not only the employees of Grenada Depot but also their workers and staff in and around the site.

As the Architect of Record, Belinda Stewart Architects, PA were overly pleased and impressed with the Performance of the contractor on this well executed project.

Grenada Upper Elementary School

In the heart of Grenada, Mississippi, a major milestone was reached in 2024 with the completion of the

Grenada Upper Elementary School expansion. The project took twelve months to complete and was

completed on time. This expansion was done in order to provide more space, better technology, and

safety to all students. The expansion included the addition of 16,800 square feet of new classroom,

office, storage, hall and restroom space. The project, with a total cost of $4,660,000.00, was carefully

planned to serve both students and teachers alike. Inside the new wing, each classroom was outfitted

with Smartboards, new cabinetry, flooring, and the latest educational technology. One of the most

celebrated aspects of the expansion was the creation of dedicated areas for Special Needs instruction.

This area used specific paint colors and floor tile colors to direct the children where they needed to go.

The building was built with structural steel framing and painted block walls on the interior. The exterior

had brick facing, and split faced block to blend with the existing facility. Behind the walls, the

expansion also introduced new mechanical, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure, ensuring the facility

operates efficiently and sustainably. These upgrades support not only the new classrooms but also the

rest of the entire campus. New Parking and Bus Routing was installed outside to better ensure the safety

and transportation for all the students.

The Greenville Pain Center

The Greenville Ambulatory Pain Center, located in Greenville, MS, had outgrown their

current facility due to patient care growth. They purchased an old Fred’s Discount building that had been vacant for quite some time for the new facility. The building now has 16,385 square feet of patient care space and took three hundred days to complete.

This expansion had a total cost of $5,455,983.00

Weather related set backs during the late fall, and early winter made the fixed schedule

rather tenuous, but with the professional team that was assembled insured that the

project was kept on track and completed on time. The exterior of the building was completely changed with the addition of drive up and walk up canopies, new store front entrances and new siding to make the building look new and inviting. The Interior of the building was completely gutted and rebuilt. The new patient care rooms and offices were brought to life ‘using the latest in colors and flooring for a great modern medical facility look. Features like aMRI lab, and outpatient procedure areas were added to offer the patients a complete pain Healing center.

New mechanical, electrical and plumbing were installed to bring the building up to code and make it the most energy efficient facility the Pain Centers of America has.

This project was run with no accidents or lost time hours and was finished on time and under within budget.

The Grenada School District Project

The Grenada School District, in Grenada, Ms., needed to expand the Upper Elementary School facility to accommodate student and faculty population growth. The expansion project took 300 days to complete, at a cost of $2,660,000.

This ground up construction connected 16,250 square feet of new buildings to the existing structures. Steel structural framing, standing seam metal roofing, split face block, and a brick façade visually tied the old and new structures together seamlessly. CMU walls were used throughout for structure, and durability. A total of twelve classrooms, three educators’ office spaces, and two new restrooms were incorporated in the new structures. A space specifically designed for ADA accessibility was incorporated, which included accessible shower, lavatory, and toilet.

New energy efficient HVAC systems were designed and installed to control the new buildings. Energy efficient LED lighting was used throughout in a suspended ceiling grid system. All new restrooms were provided with conservation friendly plumbing fixtures for the students, and teachers. Intercom and security systems were installed and added to the existing infrastructure. Ceramic tiles, and VCT were used throughout the facility. All interior spaces received fresh coatings of paint.

Brevard Hall 2nd Floor Lab Renovations at the University of Mississippi

The University of Mississippi had an old outdated building with rooms that had not been used in quite some time. They needed new and updated labs so we turned these old rooms into state-of-the-art labs for the students at Ole Miss. The new labs are in the historic building of Brevard Hall. The renovation project took 180 days to complete, at a cost of $2,524,000.00. The renovation for the labs included demolition of interior walls and wall finishes, removing the old floors, and ceilings. All new plumbing had to be installed to accommodate the new lab stations. All new HVAC and ventilation hoods were installed to each lab station and all new electrical was added to accommodate the lab needs.

All of these products were high efficiency products to that these labs could be the most efficient that they could be. The labs were framed in and the wall finishes were installed to match the time period of the building. All new floors were installed to give the labs a nice clean look. All new lab station cabinetry and countertops were added and the entire space received new ceilings and paint. We added modern style lab stations such as new table and countertops with data, plumbing (gas and water), and electrical sources. The labs include new fume hoods over all lab stations. The old worn out entrances were

demolished and updated with new aluminum storefront and Low E energy saving glass.

One large room was also converted into four separate office spaces for the professors. These offices are located over the labs on another floor. This project was completed on time and within budget. The project had zero lost hours safety.
